The Magics tennis team defeated Kent Roosevelt 3 – 2 on Tuesday. This is the 4th team victory of the season. Winning courts for Barberton were:
Hope Fetherston / Amelia Sebe with set scores 6-1 / 6-2
Annabel Anderson / Emma Ondrus with set scores 6-2 / 6-1 and
Hannah Muren / Sasha Sugden in a tie breaker with scores 4-6 / 6-4 and 11-9 for the match tie breaker.
In exhibition play:
Haylee Drake / Taylor Guysick won the pro set 8-4. And, Mercedes Preston / Alyssa Kennedy won 8-3.
Senior night is Wednesday, September 25, 2019. The Magics host North High School at 3:30 P.M. The final match of the regular season is Thursday at Canton McKinley.
