Boys Junior Varsity Soccer, Boys Varsity Soccer · Magics Boys’ Soccer Team Wins on Senior Night


The BHS Boys’ Soccer Team host Theodore Roosevelt on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 for their last HOME Suburban League Match of the season.  The Junior Varsity played well, but lost 5 – 1.    Adam Jones had the goal keeper Tyler Hall had 8 saves in the game.  The Magic’s Junior Varsity finished the season with a record of 5-5-2.

The Varsity won 4 – 2.  The team went into halftime with a 2 -1 lead.  Theodore Roosevelt started the second half with an early goal to tie the game at 2 – 2.  The second half started with yet another early goal by Kent to tie the game at 2-2.  The team scored two more goals to make the final 4 – 2 in favor of the Magics. Before the game, the team recognized the seniors and their escorts – Tim Bowers, Ameer Hikmat, Alex Klein, JD Alkire, Chedo Bundalo, Devin Ramsey, and Jared Matheson (Click HERE to see the article on our Seniors).  Congratulations to each of them and their families (Click HERE to the Senior Night photo gallery).

The team will finish the regular season with a HOME game (Varsity Only) on Thursday, October 10, 2019 as they host Washington Massillon at 7:00 p.m.  The team will then start the Sectional/District Tournament with an AWAY game at Green HS on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.  To see the all the information on the OHSAA Tournament for the Magics, click HERE .
