Cameron Fitzsimmons Selected as Josh Miller Award Winner

Senior Cameron Fitzsimmons was selected as the 2019 Josh Miller Award Winner.  He was recognized at the 2019 Winter Awards Night by Coach Mariola along with Josh’s sister Kristin and brother Ken Jr. Thanks to both of them for coming and being part of the presentation and congratulations to Cameron and his family.    

Winter Sports Awards Night on March 19, 2019

Winter Sports Awards Night will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the BHS Theater.  Each family is asked to bring a desert for the Social in the BHS Commons after the large group part of the evening before teams separate into their individual rooms.

Gary Wokojance and PJ Zentiska Place at State Wrestling Tournament

Congratulations to Gary Wokojance (182 lbs.) who placed third and to PJ Zentiska (220 lbs.) who placed fifth at the 2019 State Wrestling Championships in Columbus.  Gary was a four-time qualifier and three-time placer and PJ was a one-time qualifier and one-time placer.  Zach Scalf (145 lbs.) also represented the Magics at the State Tournament

BHS Wrestlers Take Second at Wadsworth DI Sectionals

The Magics Wrestling Team took Second Place in the Wadsworth Division One Sectional Tournament on Saturday, February 23, 2019.  There were a total of twelve teams and the only team ahead of the Magics was Wadsworth (Team Scores listed below).  Eleven Magics wrestlers (listed below) moved on to the District Tournament at North Canton Hoover

Magics Wrestlers Place Fourth at Suburban League Tournament

The BHS Wrestling Team finished in fourth place at the 2019 Suburban League Wrestling Tournament at Brecksville HS on Saturday (ohio.com results below).  The Magics had multiple wrestlers that placed including Gary Wokojance who finished first at the 182 lb. weight class and PJ Zentiska who finished second in the 195 lb. weight class.  Other
