Baseball Meeting for Lifting and Conditioning Information

There will be a brief meeting for all athletes interested in playing baseball this year in Coach Fasig’s room on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2:15 p.m. to go over off-season lifting and conditioning program.

East of Chicago Fundraiser for Team Up For Turf

Brandon Seiler to Attend Lake Erie College

Congratulations to Brandon Seiler and his family on his decision to attend Lake Erie College to continue his academic and baseball career.  Coach Fasig described Brandon as one of the hardest workers in his three years overseeing the program.  Best of luck to him in his senior year and as he moves on to college.

Magics Atheltic Department Student-Athlete College Recruiting Night

The BHS Athletic Department and Barberton HS hosted their first ever College Atheltic Recruiting Night with Dynamite Sports and guest speaker Frank Dorazio (see bio below) on Monday, October 8, 2018 in the BHS Theater.  The seminar helped our parents to become more knowledgeable about athletic scholarships and the recruiting process.  Everything was covered from NCAA

The Magics had two of their Fall Student-Athletes selected as the WAKR Student-Athletes of the Week by the WAKR staff.  Jamie Matheson who is a senior soccer player and Nick Plucinski who is a junior football player who also plays baseball in the spring for the Magics. Baseball Informational Meeting

All students interested in playing on the BHS Baseball team for the Spring of 2019, there will be an informational meeting on Friday, September 7, 2018 right after school in room A-220 about off-season lifting and conditioning.   If you are a fall student-athlete, just stop by Coach Fasigs’ room on Thursday or Friday between classes.

Hal Naragon Throws Out First Pitch at Canal Park
