Naragon Classic on Saturday, April 16

The Barberton HS Baseball Team will host the annual Naragon Classic on Saturday, April 16, 2016.  The Magics Varsity and Junior Varsity will host Northwest in a doubleheader for both teams (12:00/3:00).  Hal Naragon is a graduate of Barberton HS and a former Major League Baseball Player.  He spent seven seasons with Cleveland Indians and

Barberton Baseball Results vs. Aurora

The Varsity Baseball team lost to Aurora 5 -3 on Wednesday and the JV lost 12 – 2 to Aurora.  The team is off until Friday when the Varsity will travel to Akron Ellet (4:30) and the JV will be home against Ellet (4:30).

MAGICS VARSITY BASEBALL FALLS TO AURORA 4 – 0.

The Varsity Baseball Team lost to Aurora last night 4 – 0 in a Suburban League Match-Up.  The JV game was not played due to the weather.  The schools will play again today at 4:30.  JV at home and the Varsity travelling to Aurora.

MAGICS EARN FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON AGAINST KENMORE

THE MAGICS BAEBALL TEAM DEFEATED AKRON KENMORE 5 – 3 AT PRENTICE PARK ON FRIDAY TO EARN THEIR FIRST VICTORY OF THE SEASON.  BOTH TEAMS BATTLED WIND, RAIN, AND COLD WEATHER TO GET THE GAME IN.  THE MAGICS NEXT GAME IS ON TUESDAY AGAINST AURORA.  THE JUNIOR VARSITY IS AWAY AND THE VARSITY IS HOME. 

BHS BASEBALL RESULTS AGAINST COPLEY

JV Baseball Team lost to Copley 7 – 6 last night.  After being down 7-1 going into the 6th inning, the Magics cut the lead to 7-4.  In the 7th inning BHS fought back to make it 7-6 but ended the game with a double play.  The team now has a record of 0-2 The Varsity Baseball

MAGICS TAKE ON THE INDIANS IN BASEBALL

THE VARSITY BASEBALL TEAM FELL 7 – 2 TO COPLEY ON THE ROAD.  THE JV BASEBALL TEAM LAST 7 – 4 AT HOME.  TONIGHT BOTHE TEAMS PLAY AGAIN AT 4:30.  THE VARSITY IS AT HOME AND THE JV IS ON THE ROAD.

BASEBALL NIGHT AT WENDY’S

Tonight, March 23, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Wendy’s in Norton it will be in support of the BHS Baseball Team.  Please come out and support our team.

Bailey Headrick chooses Muskingum University

Bailey Headrick has decided to attend Muskingum University to continue his academic and athletic career.  Bailey will play baseball for the Muskies after he completes his high school career for the Magics and Coach Jeff Saylor.

BHS Baseball Tryouts

Tryouts for baseball will be next Monday through Wednesday in the BHS Fieldhouse starting at 2:45.  Players must have a physical on file with the Athletic Office in order to participate.
